Easter

We celebrated Easter by going to my parent's house in the morning for an egg hunt, came home for naps, and then went back to my parent's house for dinner which Matt, Nicole, Camryn & Mila joined us for.
In addition to the festivities on Easter day, we participated in Riverside's first annual egg hunt and also colored eggs.

March Fun in the Sun!

We have had unusually warm weather very early this year, hitting the 80's in March!
I can't begin to tell you how much we LOVE to play outside!!

We go on LOTS of walks so this triple stroller comes in handy!

Happy Birthday Brent 3-9-12

Brent worked on his birthday this year so the kids and I baked some
cupcakes and brownies and took them to the station.
Visiting daddy on his birthday
To celebrate Brent's birthday, I surprised him by taking him to dinner with our friends Kelly & Ross,
to Coach Insignia on top of the Renaissance Center.
The food was amazing and the weather was nice enough to take a stroll along the Detroit River!
Afterwards we stopped at Bahama Breeze for dessert.

Lone Snow Day

I am happy to say that we had an unusually mild winter this year. Below is a picture of the one and only time we had enough snow to sled!

New tile back splash

In February we got a new tile back splash. Sadly, these are the things that excite me these days! ha ha

I <3 my new back splash!

Fireman's Ball 2012

Every year I look forward to the Fireman's Ball, a charity event put on by the Northville Township Fire Department each February. This year was no exception! Several couples from our neighborhood went which made it extra FUN! The night was full of food, drinks, dancing, laughter, and of course Taco Bell! :-D

Christmas 2011

Better late than never...
Soooo, Christmas 2011 has surely come and gone and I'm just now getting something on the books!
Ooop! :)
We had Christmas at our house this year. Seems to be easier since we have so much baggage (ie. kids!). We had my in-laws over one night for dinner and had my family over on Christmas day. It was lots of fun!

Morgan & Dylan turn 1!

Well, we survived a year of having 3 kids under 2 years old! PHEW! Can't believe my babies are a whole year old. Kinda makes me sad how fast the time goes, but then again, sometimes I'm a little relieved that it's starting to get easier with each passing day. =)
Here are some 1 year stats for the twins:
Dylan - 23lbs, 30.5inches long, 6 teeth, walking, says mama dada luda hi bye night night
Morgan - 22lbs 8oz, 30 inches long, 8 teeth, walking, says mama dada luda cup, night night

For their first birthday we had a small get together at our house with family & close friends and had pizza and cake. Morgan did not hesitate to dig into the cake, and hardly left a crumb behind. Dylan wasn't so sure and did proceed to projectile vomit afterwards (which we regretfully did not get on film!) lol

More exciting news - we are bottle free! The twins have officially transitioned to sippy cups with milk. (yay for no more bottle rack and powder formula all over my counters =)

They are also starting to eat more solid foods: cheerios, animal crackers, bananas, apples, mac & cheese, string cheese.
Morgan is willing to eat just about anything and is quite the beggar. She gets mad if you don't share with her. Dylan is willing to try just about anything, but often it goes in his mouth and comes back out at some point :-/

The twins are both sleeping great! Morgan is a little more restless, but they both sleep through the night well (usually 7:30pm-8am) with 1 nap in the early afternoon. Dylan sleeps better at night and Morgan naps better.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DYLAN & MORGAN! WE LOVE YOU!
